2025 Pioneer Day Button Design
Buttons will be available for purchase at:
- City Hall
- Newport Drug
- Newport Public Library
Buttons are $3 each, or 4 for $10 - cash only.
Each button gets the wearer all you can eat ears of corn (while supplies last), and buttons act as your entry to win raffle prizes at the Pioneer Day event on Saturday afternoon!
What's New for 2025?
Pioneer Day will move to Saturday this year, and will include a 5K before the parade starts. Also new this year, a movie will be shown in Pioneer Park the night before the event on Friday, August 8th.
Returning Highlights
Pioneer Day would not be the same without some of the standing traditions. The sweet corn stand will return, and with the purchase of a button you can enjoy all you can eat corn while supplies last. Also plan to enjoy a parade ending at Pioneer Park, with a car show, live music, petting zoo and bounce house!

Saturday
- 9:30 AM - Pioneer Day Road Race
- 10:30 AM - Kids Fun Run
- 11:30 AM - Parade
